12 Lies in the Church

Published by:

Recently, I ran a series on how to tell what is true on The Great Shalom Broadcast: Overcoming Learning Problems, with a view to helping mothers and educators teach their children in these dangerous and bewildering times. Then, I just had this one come up in my spirit.  These may not be the most important lies ever, but probably pretty close. These are lies that are perennial and perverse. You for sure have heard some, if not all of them. Gosh, most of us are caught up in several. If not, then you probably get “corrected” by religious people with these lies — they are so pervasive.

I put them in an order of 12, some of which are paired. Like the judaizers and the gnostics. If you have studied the letters of Paul, you have heard of these. Have you thought about the same lies cropping up in the church today? Legalism hoops and spiritual ladder show-offs. What about the worst and most prevalent: we all sin every day. Oh. Is that true? Maybe. But what about the intended meaning: “so get comfortable with it!” Ah…. no.  That is why I made this “12 lies in the church” track.

This, you must hear.

If you want to hear the series on The Great Shalom, well, you can go there and select the “shop” tab and get the set as a download. It is on sale now, I think.

By the way, if you are a God-hater, and hoped to find criticisms of God… well listen in. Find the grace and mercy of God. The straightforward truth of God, reaching out for you… and all of flesh that is corrupt until God redeems is with resurrection power.

Letter to the American Church: Wake up and Speak up

Published by:

Watch Live

Notice what Eric Metaxes says about minutes 30. If you can’t speak against injustice, what kind of gospel do you believe in?

Also, I commend to your study: Mario Murillo’s  Don’t Leave Quietly, rooted in the story about Paul leaving the Phillippian jail. He did this to protect the new little church rather than for his own pride. This tells us alot about how cowed we have been.

For more on that, see Dr. Marlene MacMillan’s work, particularly the webinar on Sept 14, 2022 how so many trainings and meetings are covertly managed to get to a pre-determined “consensus” and anyone who has an unalterable plumbline gets shamed or “compassionately” excluded.  Dr. MacMillan unmasks a lot of overt silencing and covert communization that has been going on in our society. Mind blowing!

How often have we been told that we must not speak about “politics” in church and we must not speak about “religion” outside of church. So, important topics just are impolite? forbidden? Really! Did George Washington, John Adams, or even Ben Franklin or Thomas Jefferson think so? Nope. How about Jesus. LOL Let’s work on getting free. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

What would it mean to be like Jesus?

Published by:

Very surprisingly, I have never heard or seen someone take the life of Jesus, and make a list of what he did and apply that to what maybe we should do. Wow!

What would it mean to be like Jesus? It takes a real step-up of faith to consider that we might be perfected, but we also have to  consider what Jesus was like! …. oooooh and is like! Wow!

Okay, so let’s try that.  Let’s go down the list and find out what would it mean to be like Jesus?

  1. First, he was a obedient, good child, learned the Torah, took care of his family. Check. I think the church knows this.
  2. He got baptized, answered his calling, and went to the wilderness to pray.  Okay. First, Wesley and most people who believe we might be holy believe that would be on the basis of prayer and worship. A few people are following this. One group I know of focused on obedience, submission and going to the wilderness to heighten that. Interesting. That has been done. Maybe everyone needs a wilderness experience to overcome their own personal demons.
  3. Then Jesus began his ministry, proclaiming : “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand.”  There are few people willing to lead prayers of repentance. There are a few people willing to preach Kingdom.
  4. Then he went out healing the sick, cleansing the lepers, and raising the dead, doing good, releasing people from the bondage of the devil. Some of the church has a vision of this. We have a lot of work to do.
  5. Jesus went to the cross and raised again. This is not to be repeated in order to earn our salvation. We identify with Him in His death, burial and resurrection. We signify that we we are baptized. However, we should arm ourselves with that mindset. We live for others. We find that is a glorious, fulfilling life. We were meant for this.
  6. One more thing. Jesus said, “greater works than these.”  What would that be?  We are not yet to the “healed them all” yet. Jesus did that; he healed all who came to him.  So far, I don’t think we are having many meetings were everyone gets healed. People are being raised from the dead mostly in Africa, but I have heard of an instance hear.
  7.  But what would greater works be?  Kingdom fulfillment — on a wide scale.  Not just a soul here or there, but systemic salvation, love and peace. Ultimate good. Imagine that. Eden restored — or better, even grown up.
  8. We, like him, come on a colt, a foal. He will come one day as Judge on a White Horse; God will let us know. For now, we still come as suffering servants with healing in our hands, in sheepfolds, in carpenter shops, and in cesear’s household.

It is a great mystery, a great revelation.   I invite you. It makes all of life meaningful, rich, better than anything else.

For More on the Apostle’s Creed

Published by:

What we call “the Apostle’s Creed” was used in order to pass down the basics of theology and affirm the common faith since 210. Most churches stood and affirmed their faith together — as least until after 1970 when the portion of the church that were “non-creedal”  expanded. Many groups where so proud of their being non=creedal or Spirit-filled that they were also proud of not learning and not being connected with the historical church. However, even within the Spirit-filled traditions, some continued affirming the common faith with these words. Derek Prince, for one, continued the tradition of saying the Apostle’s Creed and serving the Lord’s Supper/Communion/Eucharist. Today, we are seeing that no matter how far we go in the hidden mysteries, we remain connected with the first church, and thus with all believing churches.

Here are Drs. Mahesh and Bonnie Chavda, proteges of Derek Prince, explaining the Apostle’s Creed.

https://cmi.us.endis.com/Groups/1000047683/Chavda_Ministries_International/Media/Podcasts/Podcasts.aspx

Today many churches have rewritten the Creed into modern language. For instance, rather than explaining that “catholic” means universal and does not refer to one denomination… the old wording of “I believe in the holy catholic church” has been changed to “I believe in the Body of Christ”  which carries the original meaning.

Election Explanation and Rapture News

Published by:

Johnny Enlow is one of the prophets that predicted that Trump would have a second term, in sucession. And stayed with it.  He now says, like Lance Wallnau, we should turn our effort to practical measures.  He offers a new perspective on the Rapture. I notice that it too, is very realistic given what I see around me, especially with respect to the unwise vaccination acceptation. I am looking for a way to regularly pray with you. What platform or time/place would you like? I am also considering a large covid teach-in with stats, etc. Let me know your interest.

In Case You Missed It…
Recent Posts from Johnny Enlow  have been posting a little less often about holding the line on the governmental matter we are standing for as we continue to believe God and His prophets. I have done so because once we get established that we are believing God to do His part, we all want to make sure we are doing our part. We tried fasting, praying, and going into the courts of heaven etc.—at an all-time record pace—to get this shift done and it didn’t get accomplished that way. This “failure” was designed by God so that we embrace a major paradigm change. We START with fasting, praying, decreeing, declaring, courts of heaven etc.—but we must get PRACTICALLY INVOLVED as citizens.

We have to very PRACTICALLY resist the overreach of government at all levels. With the constitutional, bill of rights violations, the masks, the vacks, with its weaponry of the cdc, the bought media, the bought big tech, etc. We need ekklesia participation as salt and light at every level. No more ignoring city councils, mayoral elections, sheriff elections, and all other local political positions. We need to be making citizen calls, campaign, vote, advise, make our voice heard on social media, etc. The “church” could skip going to a church building for a year (as perhaps most already have) and we would be much better served being active in society. WE would be better served and the Kingdom of God would be better served. No more of the virus of “endtimesitis” (i.e. Jesus is coming any second) that has dominated the church for 2000 years and made us scarily irrelevant. We have just undergone the conclusive proof that we have overvalued church-building participation and undervalued societal-participation (the ekklesia’s seven mountain mandate). This course correction and paradigm shift is being driven by the pain of the delay of being rescued by any other means.

As Jesus said, “if the salt loses its (societal) savor” it will be cast out and trampled upon. We are a massive majority but have been terribly asleep. I am convinced that God is 100% in control of the timing of when He does the bigger thing He is about to do, but I am also convinced that His delays are directly tied into the pain He knows we need to feel to properly wake up and never fall asleep again. We let the criminals take all the seven mountains of all the nations of the world while we were the Titanic band that played on and on…”Jesus is coming any moment.” Jesus is, in fact, coming back sooner than He was going to yesterday, but if we miss the assignment given us before then, we will experience a Titanic catastrophe and not the return of Jesus. Bad things happening don’t make Jesus’ return—completed kingdom assignments do. He said “occupy” until I return and not “speculate” until I return. May an “occupying” anointing be released across this and all nations of the world.

This Present Rapture

For those looking forward to “the rapture” we are actually going through a powerful one right now. It is “the rapture” described in Proverbs 2:21, 22.

“For the upright will dwell in the land, and the blameless will remain in it; But the wicked will be cut off from the earth, And the unfaithful will be uprooted from it.”

If you didn’t like that New King James Version of the Bible, let’s now read it in the New Living Translation.

“For only the godly will live in the land, and those with integrity will remain. But the wicked will be removed from the land, and the treacherous will be uprooted.”

If that wasn’t “the rapture” you were hoping for at this time, go ahead and make the adjustment. This rapture is about THE TREACHEROUS BEING UPROOTED. For the rest of you/us the assignment is REMAIN and REMAIN WITH INTEGRITY. BE the preserving SALT of the earth. BE the darkness-expelling LIGHT of the world.

Feasts of Israel

Published by:

Friday night, tomorrow at about 6:00p, Rosh HaShannah (sometimes known as the Jewish new year) begins. We know considerable about the Feasts of Israel, how they foretell Jesus, and about how they foretell the “last days” — which we are obviously in. If you want teaching on this, particularly the prophetic part, let me know. We can do a series.

Ww have had some expressions of interest from some folks, from different angles, because there has been a fad/interest in other parts of the world wide church. It is very easy to get puffed up or hot under the collar or make silly invidious judgements when one does not know a great deal about the subject matter. Let’s get together and learn. It is as much about growing inside as it is about knowledge.

Time to Pray, Seriously.

Published by:

As I learn more about what is going on, I see it is not just mere stupidity. It is very serious. Deception. To enslave.
Please try to rouse yourself from sleep and start really praying. Pray what? Wheels off the chariots. Church arising, filled with Holy Spirit to the max. Pray for everyone around you, your family and everyone. Pray their eyes are opened. Pray they make Jesus their Lord and their Savior.
Then, I recommend you witness to them. Other kinds of teaching, until after being born again, might be fruitless. Listen to the leading of the Lord. Use your faith to get the gift of faith, to hear well, and for salvations.

Pentecost 2

Published by:

We are zooming again. Not for Covid019! But by agreement. we still believe in “assembling ourselves together” so we look forward to having face to face meetings again. THE INVITE WILL SENT OUT AND THE ONE I SENT OUT ARE THE SAME. If you did not get an invite, please introduce yourself and send an email. We will be happy to have you if you want to do what we are doing. We are a diverse group.

Today we are going to take another look at Acts 2. Last time we focused on empowerment by the Spirit. Today, we are going to focus on “in one place and in one accord” –or being together. Yet the story also includes people being from many nations, different ages, and both sex.

We have had some decades now of identify politics, and “consciousness raising” based on resentment. The result has been continued injustice, burning cities, one ethnic group shooting their own and tearing downs businesses of their own, and everyone being “played.”

Examples: People being flown in to spark looting. People stealing electronics only to have them stolen from them when they get out of the store. People stealing iphones and iMacs only to have apple catch them. People being encouraged to loot and throw bricks, only to find out that that were filmed or their licenses plates pictured, they arrested a week later, and not reported in the media. Later they discover they took the fall for the (elite) organizers. Even real community organizers calling just protests (as opposed to riots) but following Saul Alinsky’s rules, asking for things already granted, so the organizer looks good, gains more power in the community, but nothing really changed. Except then people more willingly follow the organizer.

Then, did you see on TV that one must continue to keep social distancing — unless you are protesting? What? Are they hoping to get protestors die? Doubtful given the extraordinarily low death rate. Maybe it is just the second kind of fear just extends the first — and the population is even more easily controlled.

Examples: pictures of the bad cop, that intentionally hide the multi-racial team doing the same thing. Reporting that intentionally hid fact that there was meta-amphetamine in Floyd’s body. Reporting that intentionally suppress what his family says.

Reactions to other things lumped into this. Reactions to this that are legitimate and non-racist that are causing people to lose their livelihoods. Reactions to the the police brutality against a black man that now include killing other blacks, both protestors and law enforcement.

Making people afraid to say anything, while at the same time making people afraid to say nothing. It is fear, control, enslavement, impoverishment and death.

A bunch of nonsense.

By contrast, The Lord has the same peace love and joy, based on the same principles, that have worked across the generations and across the planet. Really. Check it out with history and science — oh, actual history and actual science — you know, where you count and measure.

So, here are some ancient words toward peace
Acts 2: 1 they were in one accord and in one place… or… they were together… the point is that were more than geographically together.
John 17 Jesus prayed that we would be one
James 3: 16 strife, division ends in all evil works; jealousy and selfish ambition are tools that Satan uses to create moral degradation

Satan divides black against whites and women against men and young against old and on and on. Everybody fights from hurt and offense and resentment. And everyone gets more hurt. Jesus, by contrast, offers healing.

By contrast, the forgiveness, and the goodness of God, bring all peoples together. Living in Holy Spirit, on a higher plane, makes one thankful and generous and patient. Living acccording to the instructions of the Word of God make one good, righteous, just, merciful and giving. Lots of folks living like this would make the world a much better place. Starts with hearts.
